Nice Car, look in good condition ( You should never buy anything in GB without a serious RUST CONTROL)
The only flaw to my eyes is that it is in manual box …
I know it’s look stupid but think one second:
Smooth Chassis + Buick 3.5l V8 + Right Hand drive = Automatic gearbox cruising style.
Just have to find some original seats.
J’ai tjr aimé cette auto, et la en V8 3 litres et demi cela vaut le coup de faire un détours si vous êtes en Angleterre.
Je l’aurais préférée en boite auto car entre le V8 ronronnant le châssis placide et la conduite a droite il ne vaut mieux pas imaginer quoi que ce soit d’autre que du cruising (étrangement, je commence a aimer ça d’ailleurs…)

1971 Scimitar GTE V8 5 speed manual, I have owned this car for over 4 years and in that time it has been recommissioned after being dry stored for 8 years .Previous owner had it for 25! Work carried out in my ownership. New brake pipes pads ,and shoes , Full engine rebuild, Converted to 5 speed manual, Stainless fuel tank , Recaro front seats fitted, Recon Granada radiator , New tyres all round, resprayed 18 months ago still looks good. Have some History with the car that is very interesting. Just fitted Edelbrock inlet manifold and 500cfm carb. Shame to see her go but just not getting used any more, only done 205 miles since last MOT. Now has fresh MOT and is TAX free . The number plate being sold with the car, has recently been valued at £500
Have had lots of fun with this car, showed her at various car shows and she always turns heads when im out and about, mainly for the lovely noise of the V8 engine! quite a rare thing in a Scimitar of this age, the photos don’t show her true colour which is more of a red than orange, Im obviously reluctant to see her go, but will accept any reasonable and decent offer from a genuinely interested buyer!
